A Registered Counsellor is a person trained to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems.  Registered Counsellors are recognized by the Health Professions Council of South Africa, and are registered under the auspices of the HPCSA's Psychology Board.

The ProfNet Medical Malpractice Scheme is available to all Psychology ProfNet members as part of the membership options as listed.
